I like how the graphic makes it look on first glance that it is banned in 46 states. And even when you read the detail they used language like “allowed in only 46 US states”. I guess it has more impact than saying 4 states have banned it.
Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny too Chris – with it being allowed in 46 states, the section should have been called “PERMITTED” or something similar.
That’s a great display Jason, nice find. Stats are interesting but are so often displayed in a boring way, I like what they’ve done here. They’ve picked some interesting subjects as well, injury rate, concussion rate and Olympians; and how about the revenue, a very tidy sum.
I like your blog, topical and informative. Keep the posts coming please.
